Mega-Mix-Re-Edit-Fresh-ness prt.1

This is the first part of a mega mix project I did in 2006? It was made
while customers were digging through crates at my record store,
Stacks Vinyl Ontario.

It was made as B-boy breaks, but everyone seemed to like it.

So, my friend DJ Metronome stopped by with a classic boom box.



Guess what was in the tape deck?

Gaberealistic - Take A Look Back Vol.1 (2000)







This was a classic Hip Hop tape I made on the trusty old Tascam 4-track.
The mixing was live, the remixes were layered. Pretty much push record
and go. Some of my favorite Hip Hop songs on this one.

The cover was actually a picture of a mixer box, I re-worded some
things to fit in with the mix. This concept was also used with a scratch
record I put out in 2004?

Ultra Fridays Patio Blend #2

Ok, I'm back, first post of 2009. This is a well overdue update to
my "Mega Mixes". Its #2 for my Ultra Fridays series. Its a ruff
idea of the stuff I play at Ultra Fridays. Its at Sevilla Riverside, before
that it was at Incahoots in Riverside. It used to be called Club Culture,
back when it was one of the hottest Underground Hip Hop spots
around. I rocked the patio, and Dj Cre-8 played inside.I have been
involved with this club for over 10 years. Its way different now,
but it still jumps off. Sorry, I don't play Hip Hop there anymore.
There is nobody that likes it, so I just rock the crowd in a different way.
Come hang out one of these Fridays. There is a guest list.
And yes, I'm STILL on the patio, yeah!
